Abstract: Abstract The purpose of this study is to understand how Japanese cultural values influence management policies, decision-making processes, and approaches to human resource management, ultimately contributing to corporate success. The concept of Japanese business success has become a global phenomenon, attracting the attention of practitioners and academics worldwide. To support the study, we used a qualitative method by conducting surveys with 20 Indonesians who have worked or are currently working in Japan. The research findings indicate that the combination of Japanese cultural values with modern management practices creates an effective, flexible, and adaptive system. Principles such as Kaizen (continuous improvement), Hourensou (structured communication), and Nemawashi (informal consensus-building) play crucial roles in fostering efficiency, teamwork, and sustainable growth. This is because Japanese and Indonesian cultures share similarities in business practices. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of considering cultural aspects in management strategies to achieve sustainable long-term success. The study highlights that Japanese and Indonesian cultures share similarities in business practices, making the adaptation process more feasible. To optimize the benefits of Japanese management strategies, companies in Indonesia should consider implementing intercultural training programs and flexible work policies to support employee well-being. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of considering cultural aspects in management strategies to achieve sustainable long-term success, particularly in fostering a work environment that balances efficiency, innovation, and employee satisfaction.
