Abstract:
Abstract Last-mile delivery (LMD) remains the most complex and costly phase of logistics, accounting for over half of total distribution expenses. This study examines how optimisation strategies, digital transformation, and sustainability practices jointly enhance delivery performance in Accra’s rural distribution network, Ghana. Anchored in the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Institutional Theory, a quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among 250 logistics providers, FMCG distributors, and retailers. Data were analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (SmartPLS 4).
