Abstract:
Abstract Energy analysis is a branch of economic analysis that identifies and evaluates key performance indicators for energy consumption and energy saving, with reference to the main goals and objectives of the enterprise. Energy efficiency expresses the value of the useful use of various types of energy, that is, the energy that is consumed when performing the main activity of the enterprise. The most important indicator of energy efficiency is the energy intensity of production, calculated as the specific consumption of energy resources per unit of production. For different types of energy resources, special coefficients must be used to convert them into conventional units of energy intensity or toe (tons of oil equivalent), as well as into a specific amount of energy obtained from their use. The energy efficiency indicator is considered to be universal and can be used to compare enterprises operating in different areas, as well as in different industries. Also, this indicator, as a rule, acts as an object of normalization. In view of the fact that in the production structure of metallurgical enterprises, the main place is occupied by production divisions, which are most often represented by workshops where finished products or semi-finished products (cast iron, steel billets, etc.) are manufactured, it is advisable to evaluate the efficiency of use by the structural division. Rolling and steelmaking shops are the most energy-intensive in metallurgy. As part of workshops, enterprises have production units where a certain stage of production is performed and energy resources are consumed. These divisions include land plots. In this regard, it makes sense to group the energy intensity indicator by functional and structural characteristics, in order to develop specific proposals for improving the efficiency of energy use in various structures of enterprises.
