Abstract: Abstract The subject of digitization, both in the public and private sectors, seems to have attracted the interest of many researchers in recent years. The increase in the number of investigations related to this specific issue has become more intense since the emergence of the covid-19 pandemic, which brought about significant changes in the way of working, in the operation of the public administration, but also in the everyday life of citizens both in Europe and in Greece. In this research, a systematic literature review is carried out in the field of digitization in countries of the European Union (EU 27) as well as the United Kingdom. The purpose of the research is to make a categorization of the researches, to study the evolution of the number of studies in recent years, to highlight the countries that were most involved as well as the collaborations between the countries in the specific researches.
