Abstract:
Abstract The analysis of financial returns is crucial in the management of any company since these returns determine the financial viability of any investment. In the particular case of shipping companies, this importance is even greater due to the peculiar characteristics of the shipping industry. This is a capital-intensive industry requiring significant investments in vessels and highly susceptible to fluctuations and volatility in freights.
