Chapter Chapter 7 in Digitalization in Open Economies, 2010, pp 141-146 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Digitalization is visible in networks, IT services, and digital goods. Their special characteristics are introduced in Sect. 2.2, and theoretical foundations in Chap. 3. In this chapter, the presented general equilibrium models of Chap. 4 (networks), Chap. 5 (IT services), and Chap. 6 (pure digital goods and two-sided digital platforms) are compared.
