Chapter Chapter 12 in Competition for Public Transport Services, 2012, pp 197-204 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract For the German market Chap. 10 presented above indicated that the level of competition for commercial (market initiated) services is impeded to a large extent by the existing regulatory framework. Although legally possible, market initiatives for commercial services are still rare and the level of competition for these services is much lower than for competitive tendering.
