Chapter Chapter 3 in China’s Direct Investment in Indonesia (1990–2022), 2024, pp 49-79 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In August 1990, China and Indonesia resumed diplomatic relations and bilateral economic and trade relations. China’s direct investment in Indonesia also resumed, and the investment flow, stock, industry fields, location choices, and entry modes showed different stage characteristics. This chapter systematically analyzes the evolutionary process, structural characteristics, and implications of China’s investment based on the eclectic theory of international production (OLI paradigm) and comprehensive agent motivation theory.
