A chapter in Corporate Social Responsibility and Employer Attractiveness, 2021, pp 1-4 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract CSR has been suggested to positively influence company reputation and employer attractiveness. In this introductory chapter we explain the motivation for our book by arguing that job seekers’ employer preferences depend on their individual values and may be influenced by general socio-economic conditions and cultural values and practices in their home country. The book therefore aims at analysing employer related CSR and non-CSR preferences of young job seekers taking into account contextual factors that might influence these preferences. We also describe the structure of the book and the methodologies used.
