Chapter Chapter 18 in Towards a Circular Economy, 2022, pp 333-346 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Globalization is a dynamic process that has led to constant trade based on export/import, often neglecting ecological production processes. During the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the deglobalization process has taken place to achieve the survival of many companies, mainly SMEs; however, in parallel, there has been the globalization process, which in these times demands that they use resources in an efficient way, which is why the globalization processes for economic reactivation must follow circular economy processes.
