Abstract: Abstract The concept of sustainability comes from considering the context of the organization. Leadership sustainability is not just what the leader does but how others are impacted by the leader’s actions. We judge ourselves by our intentions, but others judge us by our behaviors. It is imperative that the human resource development (HRD) perspectives along with human rights initiatives (HRI) in the plantation sector are of utmost importance in the direction of workers’ participation in management, their promotional scopes, the welfare measures, and the fatigue study to enhancing productivity. The role of government and the positive attitude of corporate sector are to be initiated in tandem for ushering their sector into a new dimension, which is but compulsory and nevertheless challenging.
