Abstract:
Abstract The study addresses the main research question: what developmental relations or aids exist between Saudi Arabia and Ghana? It used a qualitative research design and obtained data from multiple sources. Theoretically, the study utilised the theory of cooperation. The findings showed more Saudi Arabia's development aid to Ghana. Ghana, on the other hand, has had to export labour to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly during Saudi Arabia's oil discovery era. Five major development relations or aids were found in the relations between Saudi Arabia and Ghana, namely economic, migration, infrastructural, health and educational. The study found that educational development aid is the highest development aid from Saudi Arabia to Ghana. The study recommends the need for a comprehensive agreement or memorandum of understanding between the two countries that will increase their benefits.
