Abstract: Abstract This is an interview with Kun Xiao and his father in Beijing with a focus on his story. He was an athlete leader of Special Olympics and a winner of more than one hundred medals through participation in different sports activities. His story details how ongoing and strategic family support become a big contributor to his success in sports and leadership role, his employment, and independent life.
