Chapter Chapter 7 in The Inequality Adjusted Gains from Trade, 2022, pp 131-149 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes a new cross-country household survey dataset, the Household Impacts of Tariffs HIT dataset. The data are derived from the household surveys used in all the previous chapters of the book and are intended to circumvent confidentiality agreements that impede the free access to those surveys. These data enable researchers to investigate how tariff changes impact the real incomes of households across the income distribution, much along the lines of the material presented in this book.
