Abstract On November 8, 1923, former general Erich Ludendorff, who was a hero of the First World War, and the 34-year-old Adolf Hitler, who was head of the newly formed Nazi Political Party, led approximately 2000 members of their members to the Feldherrnhalle, a Beerhouse in the center of Munich.
