Chapter 2 in Deliberately Digital, 2020, pp 9-17 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Technology has always resulted in changes to the business status quo, whether it be through the advent of the printing press, the steam engine or automated production lines. However, the digital revolution is impacting not only the way we execute business, but the very heart of how business value is perceived and monetized. The emerging trends within successful digital businesses give some clear pointers as to how transforming businesses need to adjust their customer value propositions, their strategies and even their core values in order to remain relevant in the rapidly evolving digital world.
