A chapter in Tomorrow's Data Empowered Project Management, 2025, pp 43-56 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we investigate the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the performance of supply chain projects. We conducted semi-structured interviews with German project managers with experience in supply chain management (SCM) and logistics. The results show that using AI in supply chain projects is very early, but the interviewees see a high potential for the future. The potential is discussed within a project life cycle framework.
