A chapter in Mastering CommTech, 2025, pp 203-232 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In the evolving landscape of corporate communication, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) has emerged as a transformative approach for enhancing communication effectiveness and achieving measurable outcomes. Traditionally associated with marketing and sales, CRO principles are increasingly applicable within corporate communication, enabling professionals to drive engagement, foster trust, and align their efforts with organizational goals. This chapter explores the integration of CRO into corporate communication, providing a structured overview of key principles, strategies, and a recommended tech stack tailored to maximize communication performance. Key tools, such as data analytics, A/B testing, UX mapping, personalization software, and feedback collection platforms, form the foundation of a CRO-enabled CommTech stack. By adopting CRO methodologies—defining objectives, conducting baseline analysis, implementing iterative testing, and personalizing experiences—communication professionals can optimize their strategies for improved impact. Through practical examples and actionable insights, this chapter illustrates how CRO enhances the strategic value of corporate communication, aligning it more closely with business objectives and demonstrating its contribution to organizational success.
