Chapter 5 in New Business Organizational Models for Governing in Times of Change, 2025, pp 49-78 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter presents a comprehensive research design utilized to study organizational governance model shifts in times of accelerated technological and environmental changes, from traditional HR models to AI-based frameworks. Focusing on the application of the PRISMA systematic review protocol, the study systematically screened, extracted, and reviewed 94 peer-reviewed articles from 2001 to 2025 in management, technology, and ethics journals. The study design involved rigorous screening criteria, quality assessment using CASP, and data synthesis by affinity diagramming to identify emergent themes. The key findings specify the shift toward agile governance, strategic application of AI to make organizations responsive, enabling human–AI collaboration, and addressing ethical considerations. This chapter stresses the importance of leadership, reskilling, and responsible AI governance in spurring adaptive organizational paradigms for change management in the digital era. This methodological design presents a solid foundation for building knowledge advancement and informing the usage of AI-driven organizational change.
