Abstract: Abstract Industry 5.0 is driving the transition to sustainable, resilient, and human-centric organizations, overcoming the limitations of the smart factory proven by Industry 4.0. This study explores how human-AI collaboration in creative fashion design can facilitate human-centered, sustainable, and innovative design. It explores effective methods of human-AI collaboration for creative thinking and design development in fashion design and proposes various methods that the general public can utilize. The research objectives are as follows. First, I compared the outputs of generative AI and design students to better understand the use of AI in creative fashion design. Second, I specifically analyzed how human-AI collaboration can be optimized through fashion trend research and AI applications in the design process to explore the effective use of AI in the creative fashion industry. Third, I explored how to enhance the creativity of humans and AI in a multisensory way by utilizing actual audio-visual stimuli. In the era of Industry 5.0, effective collaboration between humans and AI is essential. It allows skilled fashion professionals to focus more on the fashion field. This will make the fashion industry more sustainable, human-centered, and maximize work efficiency.
