Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter, the author explores how geographic diversification strategies are being used by football leagues and clubs to diversify value creation and drive financial growth in new markets. He discusses the significant challenges involved in aligning strategic intent with effective execution. Drawing on successful cases, the author shows how leagues and clubs can embed international activities within their core strategies and activate them in ways that foster stakeholder alignment and generate meaningful market insights.
