Abstract: Abstract In today’s rapidly evolving media landscape, the lines between public service media and local commercial broadcasting are increasingly blurred. While PSM has a mandate to serve the public interest through information, education, and cultural enrichment, several local private media outlets are also engaging in content and practices that align with values of public service functioning.
