Abstract:
Abstract The concept of similarity is fundamentally important in almost every scientific field. Since Molodtsov originated the idea of soft sets, few research on similarity between soft sets has been done in the literature. In this paper, we define the notion of similarity coefficient between soft sets, and study the properties that are interesting and valuable in the theory of soft sets. Finally, we illustrate the effectiveness of the similarity coefficient in practical problems with examples.
