Chapter 11 in Handbook on Information Technologies for Education and Training, 2008, pp 195-216 from Springer
Abstract:
Starting from the importance of quality for today’s E-Learning, in this chapter, the current debate is summarised, and a new concept of how quality can be developed in a sustainable way is presented. The concept is moving away from a mechanistic view of quality assurance to processes of quality co-development with quality-literate stakeholders and to negotiation-based permanent quality reflection in educational processes.
