Abstract While acknowledging the contributions of IO and RBV, international business (IB) and international management (IM) analysts have emphasized the significance of social, political, cultural, economic, and institutional differences across countries and have asserted that countries recognize the importance of giving account of the behavioral and performance fluctuations of multinational corporations (MNCs).
