Abstract: Abstract Numerous studies link personal finances to a range of well-being outcomes. However, little research has examined the relations between financial well-being and health behaviours or social participation. To address this gap, students (18 to 25 years) were recruited from a Canadian university (n = 298) and completed a survey on the online platform Qualtrics. Financial well-being was associated with both health behaviours and social participation, and these variables were also found to mediate the relation between financial well-being and overall well-being. More research is needed to understand the mechanisms by which financial well-being influences overall health and well-being.
