Abstract:
Abstract An attempt is made in this section to review the literature in order to assess the performance in education in the light of various education-related policies pursued in the recent past. The focus is to understand the implications of having schools with different types of physical infrastructure and teachers with different skill sets under various socio-economic conditions.
