Abstract: So far we have studied “pure” military situations in the sense that all actors are established state military entities such as batteries of surface-to-air missile launchers, infantry battalions, air force squadrons, swarms of UAVs or navy ships. The military engagements, combat situations, and conflicts described in the previous chapters were typically between such entities.
