Abstract: Abstract The chapter introduces food security, key drivers of food insecurity, and food security indicators and drivers. Additionally, it introduces the Global Food Security Index (GFSI) framework and the UN Suite of Food Security Indicators and also machine learning and linear programming to develop commodity price prediction, economic access and food security, and food affordability models. Finally, the chapter concludes with the role of technological innovations, data-driven models, and small farm sustainability to enhance food security.
