A chapter in Sustainability, 2023, pp 27-52 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract With the emergence of the concept of sustainability, sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) has become a challengeable area for both academics and industrialists since sustainable supply chain is the cornerstone of a company to achieve sustainable goals. Sustainable supply chain management has been a hot research topic and many achievements on SSC have been obtained from different angles. To help readers understand the advances of this field and explore future research directions, this chapter firstly distinguishes different statements regarding the sustainability of supply chain and then specify the concept of SSC. Afterwards, a bibliometrics analysis regarding the publications on SSCM is provided. Given that the fuzzy set theory has been widely used for information expression in SSCM, we then review the applications of fuzzy set theory in SSCM. It is hoped that this chapter could provide suggestions for the future research on SSCM.
