Chapter Chapter 2 in Cyberdefense, 2023, pp 11-25 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract We consider a setting where attackers attempt to damage a cybersphere and defenders attempt to neutralize this damage. We map and simulate their dynamics and interactions by an agent-based model. Using a game-theoretic approach, we model how defenders can neutralize attacks by cooperating with each other, and how they can overcome uncooperative behavior by migration. We show that this collaborative defense is both fast and effective.
