Chapter Chapter 6 in Facility Location Under Uncertainty, 2024, pp 123-179 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter discusses stochastic facility location problems. It starts with location models considering reliability objectives and then focuses on two-stage decision-making processes. Different settings are analyzed, including ex ante location or allocation decisions, unit-demand customers, multi-period facility location, risk-averse models, and covering location problems. Together with the modeling aspects, we also discuss algorithmic developments.
