Chapter 20 in Multi-Criteria Decision Making with Partial Preference Information, 2026, pp 435-449 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter presents the FITradeoff Group Decision Support System (FITradeoff-GDSS), which operationalizes the group decision process with the FITradeoff method. The system is an interactive web-based platform, with several flexibility features for users to take advantage of. The preferences modeling process of group members in FITradeoff-GDSS should be guided by an analyst, who must aid the DMs in their elicitation process, which may be conducted either simultaneously or independently. Based on individual results analysis, there are multiple ways to address the group decision problem and reach a final solution. This can be done considering a participatory process, in which results can be analyzed and discussed considering different visualization tools provided by the GDSS. Alternatively, if no agreement is reached based on this participatory process, different aggregation tools available in the system may be applied to find a compromise solution for the group. A complete description of the system is conducted in this chapter, raising all flexibility features and tools applied to facilitate the group decision process.
