Abstract:
Abstract The input-oriented DEA models consider the possible (proportional) input reductions while maintaining the current levels of outputs. The output-oriented DEA models consider the possible (proportional) output augmentations while keeping the current levels of inputs. Charnes et al. develop an additive DEA model which considers possible input decreases as well as output increases simultaneously. The additive model is based upon input and output slacks.
