Abstract: Abstract Based on the data of cold chain logistics enterprises and facilities during the period 2010–2019 as the spatial location, this paper takes BJE city as an example and applies SDE (Standard Deviational Ellipse) and KDE (Kernel Density Estimation)to study the distribution and evolution characteristics of cold chain logistics facilities. The results show: (1) Spatial-temporal distribution of cold chain logistics facilities in BJE city has both agglomeration and diffusion evolution characteristics. (2) The agglomeration forms the spatial characteristics from “single center” to “multi-center”. (3) The diffusion characteristics present three forms: the non-equilibrium characteristics of the diffusion form, the suburbanization characteristics of the diffusion orientation, and the relative characteristics of the diffusion distance.
