Abstract:
Abstract Human resources are an important component in the regional development system, and play a key role in supporting the sustainable development of the region in the future. The carrying capacity index trend of Chongqing’s human resources to its sustainable development system shows that the carrying capacity of Chongqing’s human resources to the economic and social development is relatively stable, with a slight increase, but the carrying capacity of Chongqing’s human resources to environmental development is poor. If Chongqing wants to continue to achieve high-quality development in the future, human resources may still be its shortboard. It is still necessary for Chongqing to attract high-quality talents.
