Abstract: Abstract Under the circumstance of the rapid deterioration of global climate, it is an important measure to promote the efficient transformation of contractors' green knowledge and pro-environment behavior to solve the problems of high energy consumption and carbon emission in the construction industry. Most of the existing studies have been conducted from the one-way perspective of the influence of green knowledge on pro-environment behavior, and it has been proved that the two have a strong correlation, but there is a gap in the exploration of their interactive relationship. In view of the spiraling characteristics of knowledge and behavior, this paper innovatively introduces the double helix of DNA to describe the relationship. Based on the relevant literature in recent 10 years, the elements of green knowledge chain and pro-environment behavior chain are visually identified and analyzed. This paper identifies five elements of the green knowledge chain including sustainable concept, knowledge management, knowledge diffusion, knowledge innovation and knowledge barriers, four elements of the pro-environment behavior chain including pro-environment attitude, influence factors, behavior types and environmental performance. The relationship between the elements on the double chain is further expounded to determine the analysis index for the double-chain coupling relationship measurement in further study.
