Chapter Chapter 93 in Proceedings of the 28th International Symposium on Advancement of Construction Management and Real Estate, 2024, pp 1357-1369 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract With the implementation of construction informatization, the positive effect of BIM technology on project cost control is recognized. Still, the application of BIM technology in cost management needs to be more popular. This paper mainly focuses on the application of BIM technology in the whole process of engineering cost management and uses the literature review method to study the factors affecting its promotion and application in four aspects, such as policy, economy, society and technology, and makes suggestions on this basis to provide a reference for the subsequent related research.
