The author describes the underlying EU Directive on the protection of trade secretsTrade secret(s) (Directive (EU) 2016/943, hereinafter “Directive”) and outlines the options of implementationImplementation. Special attention is paid to the producer’s liabilityLiability in accordance with Article 4 (5) of the Directive.
