Abstract: Abstract In the paper are listed the main types of architectures of systems for business process management. Thus, we can identify several categories of such architectures, namely architectures of workflow management systems, flexible workflow management architectures, service-oriented architecture, advanced service composition, and data-driven approaches. As such, there are two of the five categories, namely architectures of workflow management systems and architectures of flexible workflow management systems, and a methodology is proposed for developing solutions for business process management.
