Abstract: Abstract The HUAP is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Fluminense Federal University. This study aimed to improve patient flow and reduce departmental crowding in the pediatric emergency room. A layout analysis with its tools was performed. Findings may reduce time in the triage area by providing better patient accommodation.
