Abstract: Abstract Building Information Modelling has been recognized as an innovation in the buildings’ life cycle around the world. This paper shows the contribution of this technology to the civil construction process. The methodology used was bibliographical research. The results show that BIM is improving the process and enabling teams to collaborate effectively.
