Abstract:
Abstract Proper and effective implementation of the public goal of generally accessible pharmacies activity in Poland remains in close correlation with the effective activity of the pharmacy, as an enterprise, and effective implementation of the economic goal, as a guarantee of the proper degree and quality of public health protection. The regulation of pharmacy activity, determined by the above assumptions, is an expression of state interventionism in the sphere of economic activity freedom, whose legitimacy, effectiveness and purposefulness are conditioned by the adequacy of the adopted legal solutions. Proper orientation of legal solutions should ensure strengthening the position and function of a pharmacist not only as a person performing the profession of public trust, but also as a guarantor of progressive and continuous appreciation of the quality of pharmaceutical services provided within the pharmaceutical market.
