Abstract:
Abstract The paper discusses important aspects of the link between digitalization and job satisfaction in current organizations, including issues related to happiness, life satisfaction, psychological well-being, Industry 4.0 and 5.0, digitization, and digital transformation. We are using a multidisciplinary approach discussing these concepts from various fields of study such as management and leadership, economics, and psychology. Happiness is a desire of every human being; it is the state to which each individual tends and is perceived differently by each of us. The main goal is to map the definitions related to the digitalization process, job satisfaction, and the interdependencies between the two notions. The secondary objective is to find some determinants of this connection and the negative or positive effects involved.
