Abstract: Abstract Our research focuses on the participation of business in taking the leading position in the development of the social sphere. In particular, we pinpoint the best world practices in social sphere in the post-pandemic world. Through an examination of the contributions currently being made in the literature on social innovation, some questions of the future of this field in the wake of the pandemic are raised. This research is centered around the innovations in development and humanitarian efforts in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. In particular, in this chapter, we seek to share a series of emerging lessons on how innovation for development efforts has been successful in the COVID-19 pandemic and to propose ways that such efforts can be made more effective. In doing so, we recognize that the COVID-19 pandemic presents a unique opportunity for the social innovation and impact-driven entrepreneurial fields. Social innovations resonate with the challenges the pandemic presents and provide new opportunities for fostering leadership in business and economics.
