Abstract: Abstract Over decades, in finance annals is debated the question of whether stock markets are efficient. Accordingly, several empirical investigations tested how stock markets react to new information and examined how they include such information, i.e. stocks prices respond. Thus, empirical studies through deploying various methodologies try to answer if prices follow a “random walk”.
