Abstract: Abstract The current study embraces tendencies outlaid in the article covering St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023 (SPIEF 2023). The focus goes on the key events relevant for the Russian economy being implemented through the language. Economic processes and various industrial, cultural, medical, and other issues to strengthen internal potential of Russia are reflected in language through creating neologisms, shifts in semantics, non-standard spelling, and metaphor in economic texts. The authors of the article study those linguistic issues that reflect and show the main trends in the Forum’s rhetorics, i.e., refusing globalization trends in economy and support of national economic interests. Thus, the chosen study material is of high relevance due to its linguistic and informative value to enlarge links between language and the agenda economic events. Economic interaction involves intercultural dialogue requiring precise and comprehensive approach to national interests mirrored in the language.
