Abstract: Abstract Imagine the possibility of being able to bring together advanced technologies along with personal mental health interventions in a unique, evolved concept within the fast-changing landscape of wellness tourism. This paper explores a novel means by which AI-powered personalization is integrated with Neurobiologically Informed Dialectical Behavior Therapy at so-called smart wellness resorts. By embedding the DBT principles at the core of the wellness services, resorts can create an immersive therapeutic experience through machine learning that auto-adjusts in real time, meeting each guest’s specific needs. Such a framework would implement wearable devices and mobile applications that capture data related to comprehensive behavioral information from guests, which can be analyzed using predictive analytics to perform DBT tailoring. It also encompasses designing and developing dynamic wellness programs that evolve in stay, based on emotions and physical states of guests, smart room features, and AI-powered virtual assistants. Anticipated gains include improved guest satisfaction, improvement in long-term mental health, and operational insights leading to continuous service enhancement. The discussion will cover how such integrated services might contribute to the wellness tourism industry, the competitive advantage of the resorts, and long-term mental health benefits for their guests. Research on effectiveness, trials of the technology, and market analysis will be provided to establish feasibility and, therefore, the effect this innovative approach may have in transforming the future of wellness tourism.
