Abstract: Abstract Digital management and artificial intelligence are an integral part of the survival, maintenance and development of business processes in the pandemic and post-pandemic world. In addition, it should be noted that in the wake of the continuous processes of modern development, the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated the processes of artificial intelligence and digital management. Small and medium-sized business entities in Georgia faced a real challenge, since this segment is the most important constituents of the business sector. This paper aims at identification of the modern challenges of small and medium-sized businesses in Georgia, in particular, the role and function of digital management and artificial intelligence during the pandemic and post-pandemic periods. The pandemic period has accelerated the integration of digital management and artificial intelligence (AI) in businesses. It triggered the digital transformation, emphasizing the significance of digital management and AI in protecting corporate stability, efficiency, and effectiveness. The post-pandemic era demonstrated the importance of digital management and AI in improving business stability and competitiveness. With these technologies businesses are able to perform more efficiently, provide much better customer service, as well as be better in decision-making, developing base for sustainability in the modern era. The research methodology was determined based on the research objectives, using an interdisciplinary methodology, including in-depth interviews with business entities and an assessment of business entities in regards to the current research components. The objectives of the study were considered as factors for defining the research methodology. The theoretical frame of the paper is based on basic, fundamental investigations by Georgian and international authors in the interrelated subjects. The paper contains results and recommendations based on complex research that are significant for scientific circles as well as for the business sector and society interested in this issue in general.
