Abstract:
Abstract Modern organizations are increasingly recognizing that the driving force of their long-term success is employees who are open to change and able to create innovative solutions—both in terms of products and services. Creativity and readiness to implement new things lie with the employees, which makes investing in the development of human resources and the use of effective motivational mechanisms key elements of company strategies. In a context of dynamic change, the role of employees becomes even more crucial, as they are the source of innovation. Over the past twenty years, innovation management has become a key factor in building competitive advantage. For many companies, innovation is now the foundation for growth and market survival. Growing customer expectations for new products and services, as well as an organization’s flexibility and responsiveness, are becoming crucial for their continued development. The paper analyzes the influence that employees have on innovation processes in companies, with particular emphasis on the role of stimulating their entrepreneurial attitudes using quantitative research with a convenient sample of 346 respondents. Arguments are presented indicating that supporting employee initiatives, creativity and autonomy not only promotes the growth of organizational innovation, but also the development of entrepreneurial competences among employees. The paper offers recommendations for managers and Human Resource departments in the field of shaping a work environment conducive to innovation through entrepreneurial engagement of employees.
